FleetForce is a Licensed 3rd Party Test Administrator for the State of Florida. We offer testing for Class A and B vehicles. The three-part State-approved assessment includes pre-trip inspection, basic skills and maneuvering, and road. Contact us to schedule your exam.

What You'll Need
In order to schedule your test, you will need to provide the following items. All of these materials are necessary for booking your test with us. We are not able to schedule a test in the State system without these documents.
Driver’s License
You will need a copy or photo of the front and back of your driver’s license. You can use your phone to take photos.
CDL Learner’s Permit
A CDL Learner’s Permit allows you to practice in vehicles that require a CDL. If you are unsure what types of vehicles your permit covers, check here.
Vehicle Documents
If you plan to bring your own vehicle, you must provide a copy of your truck’s vehicle registration and proof of insurance.
Medical Certificate
Request a copy of your DOT medical examination report from the medical examiner who performed the exam.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Per State regulations, refunds are only available for cancellations made at least three business days prior to the test date. Otherwise, the entire cost of the test is forfeited. There is a $25 cancellation fee to cover credit card processing costs. Please call us to cancel or request a refund.

CDL Basic Skills and Road Test

The basic skills and road tests are performed on our State-approved track and on public roads in a driving situation.
Book this test ONLY if you have previously passed the Pre-Trip Inspection.
CDL Road Test Only
$200
Road test as required by the FMCSA in order to pass the driving skills portion of the CDL exam.
Book this test ONLY if you have previously passed both the Pre-Trip Inspection and Basic Skills Tests
Testing Requirements
Physical Exam
You must meet certain physical requirements in order to obtain and keep your CDL, including a vision test. We have a doctor on-site every Thursday. Contact us to schedule.
Drug Screening
You must be able to pass a drug screen in order to obtain and keep your CDL. If you have a medical marijuana card, you must relinquish it. You can schedule your drug screen directly with FleetForce. Contact us to schedule.
Proper Documentation
You must provide several documents in order to take your exam, including your driver’s license and proof of residency. Find the full list on the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles website.
Driving Record
You must obtain a copy of your complete Motor Vehicle Record from your local DMV in order to take your exam.
What's the difference between Class A, B, and C?

CDL Class A License
Class A CDL allows you to operate any combination of vehicles that weigh 26,001 pounds or more, and entitles you to haul a trailer that weighs 10,000 pounds or more. Class A vehicles include tractor- trailers, truck and trailer combinations, flatbed vehicles, and most Class B and C vehicles.

CDL Class B License
Class B CDL allows you to drive a single vehicle that weights 26,001 pounds or more without a trailer, or any vehicle towing a trailer that weighs less than 10,000 pounds. Class B vehicles include dump trucks, ready mix/concrete trucks, large busses, and box trucks.

CDL Class C License
Class C CDL covers any vehicle under 26,001 pounds and any vehicle towing another under 10,000 pounds. It also covers vehicles transporting hazardous materials and any vehicles designed to transport 15 or more people.
FleetForce does not offer Class C Testing at this time.
