FleetForce is a Licensed 3rd Party Test Administrator for the State of Florida. We offer testing for CDL Class A, B and C vehicles. The three-part, State-approved assessment includes the pre-trip inspection, basic skills and maneuvering, and road.
If you have taken a CDL skills test anywhere before and are unsure of what you need to schedule, please call our offices directly before booking.
PLEASE READ: Documents to Upload Post-Booking
After selecting your testing date and time, you will be prompted to upload the following items. These must be uploaded immediately following booking your test with us: we cannot schedule a test in the State system without the documents!
Driver's License
Upload a photo of the front and back of your driver's license. You can use your iPhone to take the photos!
Learning Permit
A CDL Learner’s Permit allows you to practice in vehicles that would be legal to drive with the CDL. If you are unsure what types of vehicles your permit covers, visit here!
Vehicle Documents
We will need a copy of your truck's vehicle registration and proof of insurance if you are bringing your own to take the exam. Upload only needed IF you are bringing your own vehicle.
Medical Certificate
Request a copy of your DOT medical examination report from the medical examiner who gave you the exam.

CDL Basic Skills and Road Test

The basic skills and road tests are performed on our State-approved track and on public roads in a driving situation.
Book this test ONLY if you have previously passed the Pre-Trip Inspection.
CDL Road Test Only

Road test as required by the FMCSA in order to pass the driving skills portion of the CDL exam.

Testing Requirements
PHYSICAL EXAM
You must meet certain physical requirements in order to obtain and keep your CDL license, including a vision test. We conveniently have a doctor on-site every Thursday. Call us to schedule.
DRUG SCREENING
You must be able to pass a drug screen in order to obtain and keep your CDL license. You can also book your drug screen directly with FleetForce. Call us to schedule.
PROPER DOCUMENTATION
We will need several documents from you in order to let you take your exam or course. In addition to your driver's license and proof of residency, find the full list on the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles website.
DRIVING RECORD REVIEW
You must submit to a driving record review in order to take a CDL exam or one of our courses. You can obtain a copy of your complete driving record from your local DMV.
What's the difference between a Class A, B, and C CDL license?
All license classes (A, B, and C) have the same basic requirements. However, there are additional items needed for each license class.
CDL Class A License
Any combination of vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of 26,001 or more pounds provided the vehicle(s) being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds. Driving careers that require a Class A CDL include Tractor-Trailer Drivers and Truck Trailer Combinations.
CDL Class B License
Any single vehicle with a gross vehicle weight of 26,001 pounds or more, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 GVWR pounds. Driving careers that require a Class B CDL include Ready Mix/Concrete Truck, Dump Truck Driver, and Bus Driver.
CDL Class C License
Any single vehicle with a GVWR less than 26,001 pounds and any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 GVWR. (A bus is less than 26,001 and has 16 passengers or more, or a vehicle hauling hazards materials.)
