Class A CDL Instructors
FleetForce Truck Driver Training is a private CDL training school. We are currently seeking experienced Class A Driver Instructors with the ability & desire to teach others. Whether you’re ready to spend more time at your home with your family, or you’re just ready for a new challenge and a change of pace, becoming a FleetForce CDL Instructor is a great way to switch careers without leaving the trucking industry behind and starting all over again. Instead of retracing old routes, you’ll be teaching new drivers how to take to the road and master the challenge!
About Our Job Positions
CDL Instructor
Utilize a variety of effective, professional teaching techniques and methods that will assist students in attaining the performance objectives of the course. Instruct students in a classroom environment, on a skills course, and behind the wheel local driving using an approved curriculum.
CDL Lead Instructor
Responsible for day-to-day operations of the Commercial Driving School, including any Instructor who is directly involved in delivery of services. Set team objectives and monitor team members’ performance. Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of team members providing guidance and motivation. Fairly and objectively create work schedules. Collaborate with Director of Testing.
CDL Success Coach
Responsible for onboarding qualified CDL permitted individuals seeking to acquire a CDL License. Work closely with the Placement Coordinator to develop and implement recruiting strategies. Provides support to new inquiries throughout the onboarding process and assist in navigating the process to obtain a CDL and permit to be enrolled into the next possible training class.

CDL Instructor Job Requirements
- At least three (3) years of commercial motor vehicle driving experience preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Background and Drug/Alcohol test.
- Must be able to provide a Class A Commercial Driver’s License held for at least 2 years, MVR (Lifetime), and DOT Medical Certificate.
- Must meet FMCSA Requirements.
- You must be proficient enough in English to understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, make entries on reports and records, and converse with the public.
- Knowledge of Commercial Driver License programs is not required but requested.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Computer Programs.
- Strong Organization, Time Management Skills, and ability to set Priorities.
- Ability to read and interpret statutes, policies and procedures.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to build relationships with internal teams.
- The colleges have a policy for Tobacco-free.
- Passenger and School Bus Endorsement are preferred but not required.
