TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
FleetForce's training requirements are based on employer requirements for entry-level drivers and on the requirements of the State or technical school where we train. We've listed everything you will need to start your new career!
We’ll walk you through it.
Getting started is easier than you think. When you sign up, you’ll work with a CDL Success Coach to make sure you have all the documents you need to start your training and get on the road to success. If you don’t have the documents already, your coach will guide you and help you obtain them. We do everything we can to keep this stress-free.

What you'll need.
Once you’ve signed up, your CDL Success Coach will help confirm your suitability for training. All students must meet these requirements prior to training with FleetForce. Don’t have these materials? Don’t worry. Your Coach will help you gather them.
Possess a Valid Driver's License
Students must possess a current, valid driver's license.
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report
Students must have an acceptable motor vehicle report (driving record).
Pass A Physical & Drug Screening
Students must pass the Department of Transportation physical and drug screening.

Why are these requirements?
In order to operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) in Florida, the operator must possess a commercial driver’s license (CDL). There are many different classes of CDLs and various endorsements that are required for certain cargo. Each license permits the operation of a certain size or type of vehicle and comes with different requirements.
At FleetForce, we strictly adhere to and follow all Florida laws surrounding requirements for obtaining your certification. To read more about CDL requirements in Florida, visit the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicle website.
